The Guild Vice president Odwin "Don Trent" Trenton gives an international student a "piece" of Cave Hill in the form of a band as the President and other members of the guild look on.

During the summer the University of the West Indies Cave Hill Campus played host to students from Eastern Illinois University .With some students staying on Sherlock Hall and the others on Frank Worrell Hall, they even engaged in a friendly rivalry reminiscent of that enjoyed by the "regulars" of the halls.

The Council of the Guild of students did their part to make sure these students got a taste of the social life at Cave Hill shortly before they returned to their homes. After a short session where the students were introduced to the Guild council, they spoke about their time on campus. They were also given Cave Hill memorabilia as they pledged to be ambassadors for our campus on the hill before the boogieing to calypsos and dance hall tunes while socializing in the guild.
