Matriculated!!

Guild councilors mingle with administration and students.
The council of the Guild of Students was present for the matriculation ceremony of the new students which took place on Friday September 3rd in the Roy Marshall Campus.The Ceremony which recquired students to dress semi-formally allowed them the chance to see thier Deans and other officials dressed in their official regalia including the councilors of the Guild of Students who were robed in the red of undergraduates.In attendance were top officials such as Vice Chancellor of the University of The West Indies Dr.E.Nigel Harris, Principal ag. Cave Hill Dr.Eudene.Barritteau,Chief of Security Oral Reid,Campus Registar Jacqueline Wade,Bursar Lisa Alleyne,Alumni Association President Ricardo Knight Deans and others officially introduced the newly enrolled students to the Univeristy of The West Indies Cave Hill Campus.

The featured speaker, the previous year's valedictorian from the faculty of law, Renee Gayle motivated the new students to expend themselves and never settle for mediocrity.
Entertainment for the event featured the vocals of Guild Vice-President Odwin"Don Trent"Trenton as well as those of the ever-impressive Cavite chorale.

The official event was followed by a cocktail reception which was held in the car park adjacent to the Roy Marshall Complex. New students were given the opportunity to mingle with each other,councillors of their Guild and university administration over drinks and light refreshments.
